The Trump Administration is moving to vastly expand the immigration detention system in the U.S., not to mention its expansion of the Migrant Operations Center at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba and outsourcing detention to places like the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) in El Salvador.

These plans will require a massive infusion of resources from the federal government to pay for the construction and staffing of new large-scale detention facilities on military bases and elsewhere. Much of that money will be going into the pockets of private prison and military contractors.`

Take Action: Write to your Members of Congress today as the Budget Reconciliation bill is under consideration in the Senate, and then will go back to the House if it is approved.
